Great product I'm glad you stock the replacement blades because the little block plane works great for shaping the wing tips, but sharp blades make the difference.

While I did not like the adjustment method on how to adjust the depth of the blade in the plane. The blades seem to be good and sharp. Once I was able to sort of get the blade depth set. The tool did a good job of removing the excess wood I need to get rid of.

This small item is amazing. It's simple light accurate and inexpensive. I use it quite a bit, hence the reason for ordering additional blades. I highly recommend this tool for small projects. Great for the hobbyist! -Bob

Just getting back into the hobby after a very long layoff and I am gathering up my old building equipment. Having found the razor plane stored away in a box, I decided to clean it up and start using it. When I first bought the plane, I never used it as I didn't know how to properly adjust it. After having read some wood working articles, I finally figured out how to properly adjust the blade. I took an index card and ran the edge along the bottom and started to adjust the depth until I could feel it grab against the blade. I did this at the two corners of the blade until I got the adjustment even. Then I took a piece of scrap balsa and tried the plane on that. I got nice thin curls of balsa shavings! Now I feel comfortable in using this neglected tool in my future projects.

Not much to say about Master Airscrew Razor Plane replacement blades, except they are sharp and extremely durable. This razor plane is absolutely the best I've ever owned, and the blades are high quality and very long lasting. I'd highly recommend both the plane and replacement blades.

These are a pretty good blades and very sharp out of the package and work without catching or jamming. I have only given four stars as I found it a bit hit and miss to get a hone of them after a bit of use, but then they are cheap enough and you do get three in the packet. If I could buy a better blade for the plane, not necessarily sharper, but perhaps a bit more durable, like a blade from Solingen in Germany, I would happily pay more and buy it. After a bit of use on mahogany strip, I found the blade catching a bit. but for the money paid I got reasonable service out of it, I just wish it took a sharpening and hone a tad better.

It is a nice tool.....................too bad everything is in plastic nowadays. It seems to work well but the blade adjustment is not as easy or as extensive as it may be desired..............it its limited by the hole in the center of the dedicated blade. Back in the 50's I had a better one, however I am not complaining, I can work with it just fine.
